2011
To support its development Ermefret Berlin joined on April 26th 2011 the SNCF Geodis Europe Intermodal holding. It will therefore be part of the combined transport division (Naviland Cargo & Novatrans) of SNCF Geodis.
The ambitions are:
- Strengthen Ermefret Berlin as a Key Player for rail freight forwarding specialized in oil and chemical products
- Build on Ermefret Berlin competencies and organization to roll out the CIS & Central & Eastern Europe Development of the combined transport division.
2010
On march SNCF takes over 100% shares of Ermewa Group
2009
Ermefret completed SQAS auditing successfully.
2007
Ermefret-Network presents its services at the transportation and logistics fair in Munich, at the stand of Ermewa Group. In September Ermefret celebrates its 6th anniversary, entitled: Ermefret is 6-y.
2006
Ermefret developes and moves to the centre of Berlin, furthermore recruits additional members of stuff. Ermefret faces new projects in Eastern Europe and CIS. Ermefret Network was established in June (fusion of three logistic provider of Ermewa Group).
2005
Ermewa Group takes part in transportation and logistics fair in Munich. Ermefret developes the cooperation with private railways in Germany and Poland and participates in big, international tenders.
2004
ERMEFRET triples its turnover compared with 2003.
ab 2001
Ermefret evolves logistic concepts for powder goods and granulates based on the innovative silo-special waggons of Ermewa GmbH (80-120m³ silo-waggons)

1991
ERMEWA buys more than 2'700 s when the inventory of the DR is auctioned (DR = Deutsche Reichsbahn, the national railway company ?of the DDR), among them 800 powder waggonss.
1989
Ermewa S.A. (Geneva) takes the SATI group over and buys 10'000 tank waggons to expand the fleet.
1979
Groupe ERMEWA opens up its first office in Germany (TCL; today: Ermewa GmbH Transportmittel-Vermietung).
1956
The Ermewa S.A. is established in Geneva, Switzerland. The transport of liquids (amongst others wine) in tanks is its first business activity.
